The Challenge

The studio’s original identity carried the acronym TDMS, which was misrepresentative of the actual brand name: Tushar Mistry Design Studio (TMDS). The client sought a clear, confident, and professional visual identity that matched both his personality and portfolio. 


Our Solution 

We approached this project as a strategic rebranding exercise, keeping clarity and elegance at the core.

 

Brand Name Clarity: The acronym was corrected and restructured to TMDS, giving the brand a distinct and correct presence. 

Design Language: We chose a bold but refined palette a mix of charcoal black and snow white, reflecting Tushar’s confident yet approachable style. 

Typography & Logo: A clean, modern logo was developed with counter lines integrated into the typography to echo versatility and movement, essential to his design philosophy. 

Brand Collaterals: The identity came alive across a range of materials: 

     ◦ Premium visiting cards 

     ◦ Sample boxes for clients 

     ◦ A website with strong visual consistency, making TMDS feel like an established design brand. 


The Outcome

The new identity elevated TMDS’s market presence. From pitch decks to client meetings, every brand touchpoint now communicates clarity, character, and confidence just like the man behind the studio.
